  Rev. Timmons is a fantastic preacher. She was the pastor at my wedding and baptized our son. Bethel is a small church, and particularly welcoming to new visitors. We appreciate the work they do in the Flint community. I particularly appreciate that Rev. Timmons was able to stand up to Trump. He told her he wanted to visit her congregation to congratulate the work they do in Flint; instead, he began to criticize his opponent. He lied about his goal for speaking at Bethel, and Rev. Timmons asked him to stop when he veered from his promise. She did the right thing, and I applaud her.

  To everyone looking for a great Pastor,
  Pastor Faith Timmons is an excellent Pastor and strong woman of courage and faith.
  She presided as the Pastor at my daughter's wedding, at my father's funeral,
  and at my grandson's baptism and was a great source of inspiration and comfort.
  She also has taken time to counsel and comfort our family in time of need with great skill and compassion.
  I also was present when she respectfully asked Mr Trump to not comment on political matters as churches are not permitted to take sides in such matters.
  She was attempting to call more attention to the plight of Flint citizens with the water situation and the valiant efforts of Bethel United Methodist Church to alleviate the suffering of the people.
  Pastor Faith is excellent and I highly recommend her.

  I've never been to this church. Actually, I was just googling churches to go to in Flint since I'm coming to visit family and wanted somewhere to go on Easter. I find it fascinating that we are able to publicly rate a church on a scale of 1-5 in the first place since that really isn't how God operates when he judges us. So please understand that this system is flawed. Also, I find it interesting that there are two reviews before 7 months ago when Trump had come to do his speech of recognition. It leads to think that perhaps we would all do well to remember that we should be more conscious of not only what we say, but when we say it.
  
  I'm going to give this church 5 stars in good faith. Because I believe that whatever I do in good faith is honored by God. Words give life. I want to speak life to your church regardless of political controversy or disagreements. We are all Gods people, and we are all loved and forgiven fully not by our deeds or the words of our mouth but by faith and the grace of God alone.

  I applaud your courage and strength. Evidently there are many who feel they have the right to judge you because you didn't give Trump a political speech in your church. The good Lord knows your heart and blesses you. You did the right thing.
